Haiku

Today while I was on my morning walk, I saw a few autumn leaves on the ground. This reminded me of a Haiku I wrote last winter when I came upon an artificial leaf in the snow. At first I thought it was a genuine dash of color in the otherwise bleak landscape. When I discovered it was a poor imitation of the real thing, I took a picture of it--dirt and all and wrote this Haiku.

    I recognized your pic from seeing it before. Before I read the explanation, I thought you were trying to pass off old work as new.

    Pat I love that you have joined th blogosphere! A very warm welcome. I am enjoying your posts and LOVE your photos! I am often not inspired and seem to go for spells without a lot to say. You can increase your audience by automatically posting to blog to FB if you want....

      Thanks for the encouragement. Perhaps I'll soon get up courage to let more people see it. For now, I'm still experimenting. Have a great trip.
